Just put a motor in my 89 crx.Not everything is all together like the axels,shifter linkage,and the exhaust(open header)I have my battery charger hooked up to the car cuz it needs a battery.Why wont this thing start in just cranks and the rmps go to 4000 when i try to start it.Any help????????

cause after a motor swap u have to take all the motor oil out cause it might be freezing the pistons and making them work harder, so take all the motor oil out and top off your coolent and as soon as you start the car make sure u listen to it as you rev it nd it should work fine
