my question's
the Civic Type-R is far better then the DOT spec SI IMO

do you think it would be hard and/or expensive to get the DOT spec si up to TypeR specs
such as 200hp engine output
TypeR 17inch rims(cost and importing)
conversion from 5 speed to 6
body work

any ideas, and also suspension if its softer in the DOT spec SI

The new SI keeps looking worse and worse the more I learn about it. It's almost as bad as working with the current gen hatch as far as trying to copy a CTR(almost). I'd wait at least a year, if your big on aftermarket performance, to see what can be done.
