2000e.b.p.si 2000e.b.p.si Jr Member Registered: 08/18/01 Posts: 420 Loc: New Orleans, LA	ok, so i got the how to from jdmfan, but my question is this. Is there any way to do it without cutting the stock and using liquid nails. For example, aftermarket grills just clip in so why can't it be done with the crap from a hardware store.please help!TIA.

2000e.b.p.si 2000e.b.p.si Jr Member Registered: 08/18/01 Posts: 420 Loc: New Orleans, LA	do aftermarket grills just go over the stock ones? i was under the impression that the stock ones were removed and the aftermarket ones used the existing clips from the stock grills. i want to know if it is possible to remove but salvage the stock grills and fabricate custom grills that will fit the existing clips so i don't have to glue anything? has anyone done this successfully? any help would be great. thanx.

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	Where exactly on the bumper are you talking about? Are you talking about both the upper and lower center grills or the fake brake ducts too? I dont know about the aftermarket grills...I did the same custom grill from jdmfan and mine turned out fine. ------------------ fat girls are like mopeds--theyre both fun to ride...until your friends see you on it

2000e.b.p.si 2000e.b.p.si Jr Member Registered: 08/18/01 Posts: 420 Loc: New Orleans, LA	i was talking about the upper and lower. i have the oem fogs. i know street scene and grill craft make ones that supposedly just clip in or something. i didn't think an aftermarket company would have you trash your stock grills by cutting them out and what not. but anyway, do you have any tips on the install not provided by jdmfan? i'd like to see any pics you have as well.

To others that like to make their own CAI, paint their valve cover, etc This is for them. It's a cheaper way to get a Grillcraft type grill.
