You will be upside down no matter what. You need to drop to a lesser value car. Like a Civic EX-or less. Maybe a used car. That way you wont be hurt too much on your monthly payments. Maybe check out domestic cars. You can get a Neon for a great deal right now,and it would be way cheaper than your Teg'. Some domestic co's are offering 0% financing-which would work in your favor.
The trick for you will be to get a car that is much cheaper,enough so that when they add the amount over the value you owe on your Teg',the payment isnt terrible.
You could also save every penny,and throw in any money you would use for mods,and maybe tax money from next year,and try to make a big payment to drop the amount down-so that you are effectively owing what the car is worth. After that,try to refi-to get your payments down.
