My favorite thing about the torque-thrust is that my buddy with the '62 Buick Skylark (215ci all aluminum V8) forever project bought some 15" Halibrand 5 spokes a couple years before they made their return to production. He loves it when people ask about his torque-thrusts or cragars.

Nice car.

I was still feeling productive after an afternoon of power washing the deck so I grabbed my cut off saw and took a coil off my new Maverick springs. Should lower the front by about an inch vs. stock (and 3-4 from where it sits now with incorrect springs)

Back from the dead.

Finally ordered these:

They're on back order but no matter, won't need for awhile at my rate of work. $486 shipped, 17x8 front, 17x9.5 rear. \:\)

Yep

Found one with rims like mine.

I don't plan to lower like that though, too low imo.

Cool, they're a good balance between classic and too Foose.

Gonna delete the side marker lights like that?

At least they're frenched in. I hate the tacked on look of big side markers that sit proud of the body work (with the Porsche 924 being the worst offender with those round ones that look completely wrong on the car).

Yeah they don't look bad to me. I want the car to look muscle car mean and not real "showy". I cut a coil off my new front springs. That'll probably be it for appearance mods.

Mine should have about the same stance as the silver Mav in my sig when I'm done.

Will it? because that car is clearly not running a square set up...

And while I realize you aren't either, are you going to put a taller tire on the back?

I guess mine won't be that exaggerated, back tire might be an inch taller depending on the size I choose. The rear will be stock height and front about an inch lower because I cut a coil off my new springs.
