So as if to perfectly illustrate Murphy's Law, three days after I popped a tire (which of course necessitated a full set of new tires in a size that was backordered two weeks), my wife's car, a 94 Eclipse base, snapped the t-belt after 30K miles. Took it to the shop and picked it up after nine goddamn days and I can already, after two days, feel the lightest hint of warped rotors. This car seems prone to it if you use air tools to tighten the lugs. Les Schwab did the same thing last time we got new tires, I finally broke down less than six months ago and put on new front rotors since the car was such a pain in the ass to drive. New rotors completely solved the problem, but I don't know how to approach the shop yet. It's really slight right now so they could easily tell me I'm nuts, but if I wait they'll blow me off saying that could've happened for any reason in the intervening time period. What would SvA do? The rotors are practically new, so a good turn is all it would take for things to be right.
