Just keep drilling until the bold disintegrates then pry out all the little pieces of left over metal. Retap and you aregood to go.
It works like a charm.

I've decided that from now on when I have a broken off bolt in a part that I can pick up, I'm taking it to the machine shop without even trying to drill it out myself. The old guy only charges like $5 for something like that, and he doesn't fuck things up like I tend to do.

Yes, machine shop for the win.
If you drill out the center of the bolt, drop a 1/8 or 3/32 nickel or mild rod down there, then hit the pedal for a second to fuse the end of the rod to the stuck bolt. Let it cool COMPLETELY. Twist out. Easy. ;-)
You just have to have a TIG.

PS: always use anti seize on turbine housings.

We had a problem on the rally car, stainless nuts on the exhaust studs. Apparently there was something (maybe nickel content?) in the nuts that came out with heat and welded them to either the manifold or the studs. Those were a bitch to get off. I don't recall what's on there now? Brass or something perhaps? I seem to recall my exhaust nuts for the downpipe being brass or similar in color.
