Speaking of which, am I the only one who critiques the cameras carried by tv forensics people and cops? My wife watches all those shows. Weird mixes of mostly Nikon stuff with the omnipressent R1C1 ring light kit.

Still pissy after all these years...
they could also be an approved vendor for federal grant monies, dignified by that. most federal money at this point is required to be spent at small businesses, with locality being a big plus. research facilities getting fed money will buy all kinds of imaging equipment from a place like b&h on a fairly regular basis
