I just picked up a Vanguard Alta Pro 263AB Aluminum Tripod with SBH-100 Ball Head, it's fucking awesome!

I'm waiting for all this god damn weather to clear, I wanna get out and get some Milky Way pics since the moon is finally gone!

I went to a 'dark sky zone' just north of Gravenhurst and it fucking sucked. Great for telescopes, shitty for cameras. I've been eyeing up some spots off Twelve Mile Bay road (South of Parry Sound).. Right now you've gotta look SSW, so much light pollution pretty much anywhere.
I use this to find decent zones for the Milky Way.
