Na Pali Coast, Kauai.... Double rainbow, what does it mean?

took some pics at the Na Pali coast a couple weeks back... I am just getting around to sorting them up. Usually I just drop them into iphoto and forget about them but I have been watching a lot of retouching videos and want to try my hand at sprucing up some images. The only problem is how to pick the "one" image from a series.
If you have a few images that are all similar, what factors do you take into account when narrowing it down?
EDIT: well, we picked this one:

Obviously these are all VERY similar, but maybe there is something that jumps out as "right" or "wrong" that I am not seeing. These are all camera outs, I have RAW available to play with.
link to a couple more in my flikr acct (just set it up) as well as some pics of my wife in the sunset. They weren't posed and looking back I really wish I would have taken the extra second to clean up the scene.

yep. in one day, out the next. Wish we had more time but that was all we could allow. I am not going to lie, my wife and I have hiked all over the US (we did 2 weeks in Glacier and Tetons last year) and that 11 mile hike was one of the hardest I have ever done. I went with the bare essentials and I am glad I did.
That said, if you asked me if I wanted to do it again tomorrow I would be packing my bag tonight.
Sweet. We only went in to the first beach, after we saw the end of the trail on our boat tour we decided next time we're there we're going to do the whole thing. Looks amazing.

I don't know how to edit landscapes for the beautiful, but some curves and such would be good on these. bring out some of that contrast
