That is way cool. I've heard of adapters for reverse mounting lenses for better macro shooting. Never seen it done with a point and shoot.
right? so i was like fuck this went on amazon to see what i can get shipped primed to me... realized fuck it they used tape... LOL damnit i left my camera on... charging the batteries meow! gonna see how well 8 layers of tightly wrapped electrical tape is gonna hold lol
So if I reverse mounted my 100-400 on my 24-105 what would I end up with in terms of magnification range? Would having the 100-400 at 100mm and the 24-105 at 100mm cancel each other out and I'd have 1:1 magnification? I'm I thinking this right?
That is NEX-3 : 54mm macro extension tube : NEX to Pentax K adapter : 70-300mm Quantaray 120 dollar lens.
I did not take many pictures with it, but I think I got pretty decent results with that setup. It is all about the depth of field in my opinion, that is the hardest part to get right with Macro shooting.
