Sorry if this is a question that's been asked a billion times, frankly I expected there to be a sticky in this forum that addressed this, I searched for "host" going back 2 years.
---------------
So the obscure as fuck photo sharing site I've been using since forever (Zooomr) has finally closed down (I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did) so I'm in a position where I'm forced to find a new one.

Here's what I am looking for.
1. Ability to use images hosted on the site/service on forums or sites (CSi or others), being able to do this for various sizes of the image is vastly preferred as I upload pics at full resolution but don't want to use massive images in posts and downloading/resizing/uploading the pictures would be a massive PITA.
2. Uploaded images are stored and available at full resolution.
3. Ability to easily upload photos from my Android phones to the service. By easily I mean I want to select a bunch of photos and then upload them all as a batch, if I have to upload every one individually it's not easy.

Nice to have features include the ability to automatically set newly uploaded photos as creative commons license or at least the ability to change the license for multiple images at the same time.

I've looked at Flickr and Picasa, Flickr fails 2 and 3, Picasa fails 1

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I was going to say Flickr till I got to #3.

I paid for the money for Flickr Pro and I can host and store my 24 megapixel images on the site no problem.

It is a darn shame that Flickr does not have an App for Android.

I wish I could help further, my only experience is with Flickr and Photobucket.

Perhaps you can do as I do, use both Flickr and Photobucket. Photobucket has a great Android App. It uploads automatically when I take pictures and video. I could also opt to only upload pictures and video I want and yep, I can select batches of them and then bulk upload right from my Android phone.

Lots of 3rd party apps for Flickr..

Flickr Upr is an app that lets you batch upload. It's $0.99

this would probably be my suggestion. picasa lets me email upload, and i think you can configure the same with flickr. picasa has turned into a bit of a pain in the ass to get the link to an image for now that plus has integrated so tightly with it.

Thanks guys, Smugmug is pretty pricey, I guess Flickr pro isn't that expensive though I guess my cheap ass is spoiled plus I'd prefer to not give Yahoo! any money.

I think I'll try Fotki, seems to have the features I want.

I was trying to decide between the two, and not giving Yahoo money was a big factor. Everything they update makes it more of a pain in the ass for me to use. Im slowly finally moving my basic emails to other accounts(I know finally, but I didnt really like gmail)

My gmail is my spam account. My Yahoo does a better job at filtering spam, but they keep updating to keep it modern and keep making the UI shitty. I like my outlook account, especially since I was able to get my name at launch

I know, mind blown. My gmail account gets a ton of junk. Yahoo, very very rare.

Fotki doesn't give you access to full sized images unless you pay \:\(
