Wow, that's a nice lens but I was thinking along the lines of a 16-35mm f2.8 mk II or a 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM.
For the amount of shit I do, I think either would be pretty good.

sad thing is 17-55 on your camera is a mid-range zoom  NEED WIDE
1.6x crop failure
Maybe I do need to look at the 16-35mm more seriously, or shit something even shorter?

Hrm, well the 10-22 is cheaper then any of the other lens I've been looking at (16-35, 18-55, etc)
Do I dare even mention the Sigma AF 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM which is getting good reviews?
