Looking for feedback on my site I recently launched. I'm still working on updating images since I don't have all of my images handy, but looking for an overall opinion of the site, layout, navigation, etc.
Also, another site said the images in the slideshows are "soft"...can you tell me if you see the same thing? I'm not seeing it, but it's because i've seen these images over and over.

I'd remove the family photograph or whatever it is from the slideshow.

I will give you my best review and i dont have a site of this caliber of my own as of yet so i hope i dont come across as a dick.
Home page/Slide show: The family pic is kind of all over, and to me the unflattering bits of the photo stand out to me. Also the couple in the street with selective color flower would be good if it wasnt in selective color, Its just one of my biggest pet peeves. Aside from that its fine.
Pricing: I think id personally rather see a price range instead of saying "most sessions start"
Portfolio: I wouldnt put the photobooth first on the list. Id put your strongest and most often sessions shot first, almost like a trademark. Also the second photo in "Family" isnt your strongest. Also i only see children and not really "Family"
The blog section and where you are kind stuff is good. With the contact section id give a bit more info about myself in terms of how someone could contact me direct instead of going through so many channels to get to you. As far as some of the images being soft, i dont see it so much. Aside from these few suggestions it looks good. I hope that helps.

Trust me, I'm not a fan of the gimmicky HDR/selective color/blown highlights style of photography but the theme of their wedding was sunflowers so I needed a couple photos about the sunflower, but to include them in it. They LOVED this and it was one of their signature pieces. That's the only reason I did it.
Pricing: I think id personally rather see a price range instead of saying "most sessions start" I give a starting price since most photographers i've encountered do this as well. It gives me a starting place then I can adjust from there. A range is a min/max and I didn't want to limit myself...but I see where you're going.
Portfolio: I wouldnt put the photobooth first on the list. Id put your strongest and most often sessions shot first, almost like a trademark. Also the second photo in "Family" isnt your strongest. Also i only see children and not really "Family" Photo booth *is* my strongest...it is what I want to do more than anything. I only put the family one up because i'm scheduled to do more and more family/kid shots this year and wanted to have something to direct people to if/when word of mouth gets out more and more. See below...
I've thought about putting my phone number as well, but that's about it. No need to provide an email address since they can just use the contact form.
After getting some feedback from other sites/people, I think what i'm going to do is make my site more about the photo booth setups and give more specific examples as they pertain to weddings and events. Then i'm going to do an additional work portfolio that includes the family/birthday/events/etc. That way the concentration is photo booth, but shows that I am also available for various events as well.
Thanks for your feedback, it is much appreciated and not "dickish" at all.

Nothing should "shift". I've tested this site numerous times on OSX and Windows and haven't seen anything like that.
What are you using when this happens?

I would probably narrow down your selections, there's a lot of photos... I know it can be hard but IMO you should get the numbers down. Lean, and mean.
Also, clean up pizza face guy on your about page. The other thing is I would probably reconsider the written part of your about page, if I'm trying to hire you I don't really want to hear that you don't do this for a living.

Ah, I see what you're seeing now. It's the transition effect (fade) and IE7 probably can't handle it very well. I'm using IE7 here at work as well and saw it, but it doesn't do it on firefox, safari or chrome.

Made some changes based on feedback...the only thing I haven't done is the homepage. Still working on getting those images off the HDD.
