JRSC integra w/ type-r swap.
First time using a DSLR. Nikon D60. I had two lenses...one labeled 55-200mm, and one labeled 18-55mm. I have no clue about photography so I don't know what that means, although the 200mm was i guess similar to a telephoto?
Anyway, pictures (photoshop warning):

A few things could be different
Such as? I'm open to all criticism, good or bad.
Are you a recent convert from digital cameras or just trying out the D60?
Just trying out the D60, borrowed it from a friend. I have an older point and shoot Cannon Powershot S2IS.

a couple of these look like some rather expensive lighting was used /not looking at any exif
I do believe that's photoshop, though I could, of course be wrong.

That is correct, purely photoshop.
These look better than my car shots.
I might suggest a little cropping out of the upper part of most of the frames, but the lighting is wonderful (I'm guessing solid overcast but still fairly bright outside?) and I think the PS work really works with this car.
I'm sure Nate can provide more helpful criticism.
cheers, scott
correct again, overcast but bright.
I think uploading to tinypic strips exif data afaik...

Very strong showing for your first time out, the main things I would suggest keeping in mind next time would be:
1. Make sure the whole car is in focus, or make it obviously selective focus 2. Try to keep your lines even and kind of level, or again, OBVIOUSLY not level 3. Clean up your masking and watch the highlight and saturation clipping points, the PS work is sloppy and inconsistent, it doesn't flow between the shots 4. Find a batter location
