I found out today that the dude who came in second that I beat relatively handily, shot his picture with a 5D, paired with a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8IS.
He lost to a kid with a $500 Rebel Kit and some free time
I know I'm not really any good, that this doesn't MEAN anything and there's 1 MILLION things that I'd like to work on, but through some crappy times lately... It just made me feel REALLY good inside and I thought I'd share.
