BobBarker BobBarker Unregistered	I am thinking about heading down into DC tomorrow for cherry blossom pics, but it is so played-out, I'm really going to have to do something cool, I guess. Either that or go somewhere else, but I'm off from work and my wife's in school all day. $\:D$ Camera has been sitting here on my desk collecting dust for too many days now.

Cali	almost slept through it. wife woke me up... but then proceeded to be such a pain in the ass i only hit 1/4 what i wanted to. looking through now.. edit: downtown was deserted, and i think i have 3 i don't hate. i figured what the hell, here are two more. I don't think these are horrible, but I just didn't care for them...at all. try as i may, and i put this in the comments on flickr, the best versions of these remained in my head. Too far away to be interesting, too much going on, and the sleeping bum would have shanked me had i tried from the place I originally wanted to be. sorry eric, i dig distortion/converging verticles $\:\)$ i'm a total photoricer haha Edited by jsmonet (04/04/10 01:56 PM) _________________________

I like your shots of empty downtown jsmonet...but converging verticals are my biggest pet peeve so that takes away from them. Still love the scenes and lighting though _________________________

mrbeefhead mrbeefhead Unregistered	nice work jsmonet! I woke up at 3:20, geared up and arrived at Marty's Donut Shop around 3:55. Shot 84 frames on film and 70 with the digital. There has to be at least one good shot in there. Two rolls are developed and drying right now (35mm Ilford Delta 3200 ISO) and the last roll (same film in 120 format) will be developed tonight. It was fun, but FUCK i are tired. heading out to easter lunch now, will post my pick of the catch later today.

mrbeefhead mrbeefhead Unregistered	here's a tease, unedited - it needs to be touched up a tad. Scanned from a roll of Ilford Delta 3200 ISO b/w film. Rest of the series to come probably tomorrow. Around 20 pictures.

mrbeefhead mrbeefhead Unregistered	I think I am in love with Delta 3200. I was so freaking wiped out last night after waking up at 3am to get ready, then having a full day of easter and kids. It took everything in me to stay up until 10 getting the first two rolls scanned. more tonight.
