I just got a single set of Ingalls eccentric bolts to dial in some neg camber at the front of my '06 Si. I called a bunch of alignment shops around me because my normal guy can't install them until next week. All of the non-performance tire shops kept swearing that it was not a good idea to run 1/2 a degree of neg camber because it will wear the insides of the tires "much" quicker. I know some faster wearing is certain but didn't think it would be drastic. Are any of you guys running camber adjustment in your daily drivers and if so, how much premature wear have you noticed?

Pffft. Everyone that says that doesn't know squat. I had -2.8 front and -2.5 rear on my 00 Civic Si with 0 toe for 4 years. Daily driving and autocross. Put on about 50,000 miles with that alignment. As long as you rotate the tires every other autocross or every 4000 miles you are fine. I never had the shoulders of my tires wear faster than the outside.

Make that nearly 70,000 miles, because I ran the same basic alignment on the car. The snow tires are finally about worn out, after oh... an extra 15k over what you put on them. My summer/autocross tires were worn out dead even across the tread after about 10k miles of driving and 5 or 6 autocrosses.

Camber doesn't kill tires, toe does. And a half degree isn't squat, you'll be fine.
