Have any 06-07 Si owners messed with the front swaybar yet for AutoX? Tried a smaller one? Removed it altogether?

I tried the smaller LX bar. I did not like it. We ran it for about a month and ripped it off. It was a $50 gamble.

It did not make the front end bite as well as the stock-sized bar and the extra gain in rotation wasn't much. Wheespin increased as, technically, the front end becomes softer with the smaller front bar. The only place it really seemed to help was mid-corner in sweepers. Entry and exit to sweepers was terrible as the front end did not bite well and we had more wheelspin on the exit.

I still have my LX bar as I am a.) hoping to use it as a "blueprint" for a custom, larger front bar to be made...and b.) keep it around if/when the Koni's come out. It may be good combined with shocks, but on its own, its crap IMO.

Hey Sam! Its Ryan, JP is my codriver for Chicago region. I've heard a lot of talk about smaller sways this year to improve front end grip. When we ran 245's last year we actually went to a bigger bar because the car just felt sloppy. We removed it for this season and put back the stock bar. We are running 235/40/17s now and I think the stock bar should be just right. Anyone want a progress front bar?
