I'd set it as low enough so you have more power, and it doesn't kick in a corner, but high enough that you can get off the line smoothly, maybe 4k, what car do you have?

Whats the rest of your setup?
I wouldnt change anything regarding VTEC or fuel without being on a dyno to see what I'm gaining or losing and where. I'd also try to have a decent idea where I'd really like to have more power. I also have an 00 Si, and I'm finding I'd really like to drop the crossover to about 4500rpm or 5000rpm for racing. Any lower and I'd be hitting the X-over in normal driving and it would be annoying imo. Need to pick up a VAFC one of these days...

it takes literally 5 seconds to change the crossover... so effecting normal driving isnt an issue, i can just change it to wherever after the event.. i have mine set at like 4500 for DD. keeps me driving economically lol.

if you have a mostly stock setting and change the crossover, you'll do nothing but lose power. you simply put the crossover at the point where your horsepower curves intersect, that's where it is from the factory.
