I'm looking at running my car in autocross this spring, this will be the first time I have tried autocross, because, well, because I got my license and car in december.

I've already found a local club, and plan on going to the next meeting.

I have a '07 Civic Si Sedan, and want to know what I can do to it while staying in the stock class, and not spending too much money.

btw, does anyone have any general autocross tips?

Congratulations on wanting to autocross. It's a fantastic sport and a great way to drive your car at 10/10 under controlled conditions with very little risk to yourself or the car. The driving skills you learn autocrossing are extremely valuable day-to-day. I think all new drivers should try autocrossing.

Here are the SCCA Solo2 (autocross) rules for 2007.
Solo Rules
Google autocross tips and you'll find a ton.
Someones tips

Basically for stock class you can do the following (this isn't everthing, but the most common):
factory "crash bolts" and a good alignment for a little neg. camber up front
dedicated wheels/tires: wheels must be the original size (17x7) and same offset (+/- 1/4"). Ideally you would want to get lighter wheels to reduce unsprung weight. Tires can be R compound in stock class.
Drop-in air filter
replacement shock/struts that do not change the ride height.
NO intakes, headers, lowering springs...

My tips would be:
1) Talk to as many people at the event as possible (get tips from the experienced folks)
2)Get as much seat time as possible (driving and riding)
3)Have fun but don't expect to win for a while, that will come with time.
4)Buy a helmet so you don't have to wear a stinky loaner!
5)Buy magnet numbers/class letter to make it easy for the workers.

and always remember to learn to drive the car and then work on modifactions to make yourself a better driver! i would recommend if you can, get set up w/ a real old timer who is willing to talk your ear off.. have them ride w/ you.. ride w/ them. alot of regions have special classes for novice drivers! take advantage

Good point.
Too many people add all the crazy bolt-ons then try to autocross and drive the piss out of the car, out of control most of the time.
Take it easy, learn the car then find the 10/10 edge of it.

Lansdale is north of Philly. Landisville is outside Lancaster.

So you've autocrossed with our club before. I'm the Autocross Chief and Novice Autocross Chief for our region that runs at Farm Show, Hershey, Carlisle, Park City and York Fairgrounds?

I've never autocrossed before (no car / license), but I'm trying to start this spring, do you have any specific club you would suggest joining?
