Set-up is relatively easy if you can get it to work. You’ll need the latest version of WhatsApp for your phone. Once you have that, navigate to web.whatsapp.com in Chrome to generate a QR code for log in. Then, open WhatsApp and select WhatsApp Web to scan the code. That’s it, apparently, though we haven’t been able to get it working on our Nexus 6, which was running the latest available version of WhatsApp in the Play Store and then the APK available on WhatsApp’s website.
Speaking about the lack of iOS support, WhatsApp said, “Unfortunately for now, we will not be able to provide web client to our iOS users due to Apple platform limitations.”
