High Value Poster Post Master Supreme Registered: 02/20/01 Posts: 47669 Loc: T.O. - Canaduh	i've been 3 times.....it's........"an experience" to say the least - and i stayed with relatives on dad's side...not any fancy hotel =\ there's a definite shock factory involved when you're in the cities, you're sense can be overwhelmed (mainly smell LOL), but it's something some folks handle better than others. granted when in the main areas of cities you dont see shit like that (pun intended), it's more outskirts. or the 'worse' parts of the city vs. the developed areas. if you're driving or walking on the road or sidewalk, you're too busy paying attention to not stepping in cow/goat/dog shit, running into people, not getting run into yourself (by people OR cars OR scooters OR tuktuks) or if a women, not being groped in public. that or beggars coming up to you non stop. dudes dumping will usually be off in the corner someplace where you wouldnt even look twice at. pick pocketing is actually not really bad there from what i've seen/learned. but for the avid traveler, india is a must. culturally you almost can't beat it for an experience to say the least.
