So, since this program started in 2009, we all have $25,500 that we can have in our TFSA?

2009 $5000
2010 $5000
2011 $5000
2012 $5000
2013 $5500

I wish I had $25,500 sitting around...if I did, it'd go straight in my mortgage as I am risk adverse when it comes to investing.

Contributions? Since this fucking house I make only the company matched portion, the rest is taken by home depot.

This has to fucking change

How do you figure you have spent on the renovation so far? I'm sure the sweat equity will pay off huge.

I am sure you save a lot of coins by doing all the reno yourself.
If I am in your position, I would be paying out of my ass as I am not as handy as you and have no clue when it comes to Mike Holmes business

I understand your pain!!!

what was done in 2012?

I'll start

-Added a window upstairs by the stairs landing
-water heater (own)
-9 doors throughout the house
-driveway
-interlocking
-fireplace hearth
-steps on the side of the house

This year, Im gonna do my upstairs bathroom since it'd cost me a pretty penny and Im gutting EVERYTHING to the bare bones and *maybe* the stairs if I have any $$ left over.
