It seems like you're constantly bitching and moaning about something or ANYTHING that is so bloody awful where you've never experienced it first hand like living in the states when I did almost 10 years ago. Plesae spare the speech on you know joe blow in chicago got this and that treatment within a nanosecond and he's cured.
I'd admit I've never experienced health care anywhere else except for USA and Canada. I'd GLADLY pick Canada over USA where health care down there is a monopoly and they profit on sick people rather than 'making them better'. If I didnt have the money for treatment, doctors wouldnt even look at me. That's morally wrong.
We get it, you're a typical CSi baller who can afford to shell out 100 grand for medical treatment in the states. Im not, so therefore my only choice is to stay in Canada.
And with regards to the moral aspect of profiting on sick people, why not? You pay for any other service that you need to live on per use basis. That forces you to think about consumption. Without co-pays, people don't think twice about going to the doctor, whether they need it or not.
the entire world and the current systems are in trouble, period. We arent immune to this. Across the globe, health care, real estate, income inequality etc.
