My car just turned 16 years old. Happy Sweet Sixteen, B16. Had a scare last week with a spark plug coming half way loose making a metallic tapping on noise on the spark plug cover. Thought I wrecked something in the valvetrain. Tightened it up and it continues to pull hard to redline. I can't really understand how this engine still runs so well considering how many times I've run the thing up to 8000rpm. Can't bring myself to get rid of this car even though I have no time or space for it. Decision would have been a lot easier if I did actually pop something in the engine. Anyways here's a picture of the sexy 16 year old before I put it in storage for a while. Sorry to all the perverts who came into this thread expecting something different.

I was up early because I'm moving tomorrow. Lots of stuff to do.
Bike was on the back as I was going to Centre Island with a couple of bikes the next day.

IIRC he sold it after it got hit, pretty sure he had a tough time accepting that it wasn't OEM clean so it was traded in. That was such a clean car tho, damn.

Yup it got rear ended. I traded it in for an 06 Si which was junk. Vw ever since with 2 Gti's.
I've done some history searching on my old SiR and it was eventually stolen and chopped, belongs to an insurance company on paper somewhere.
Should have never gotten rid of it but it's part of life and growing up.
Now it's just a mission to try and find one trying to relive what you had. Or do you just move on and buy something else.

An older lady I work with has an OG '99 SiR. Its kinda beat up, but still maintained by Honda. Well over 200k but still drives and pulls great. All original still, wheels, seats, fogs, etc. Few door dings, but no rust aside from the stone chips. Accident free and shes the original owner since new.
I have no idea how much its worth, but Id think it would be a great project car. I told her if she ever wanted to get rid of it that I might be interested.
That is until she showed up at work driving a newish Toyota Venza. Traded the SiR in on a whim for it. Dealer gave her $1000 for the SiR.

As celebration I may have to try and dig up the video of this SiR, Frank's, and mine before it was stolen. 3 flawless VSM SIRs driving around together in harmony making sweet b16 music....definitely not something that will be seen again.

saw a red SIR pretty damn good condition for $3500. that would have made a sick beat on car.
I should have bought Cals (dont remember his username) MR SiR back in 2003/4... Love that car/colour.
