Oh and early bird pricing is NOT in effect, it's over as of March 7th 
Is the CSi crew doing both horse shoe and blue mountain? might as well I suppose? Which distance? I want to go balls to the wall this year.

The 50 miles one is like $130...i didn't realize they are so expensive. If that's the case I am going to back out, sorry but $300 to ride in a 'race' twice in the summer is fucking absurd. I had no idea it was this expensive.

Can we maybe put together a list of races/events that happen over the summer and their appox cost?
I know there is the Tour of Mississauga (free). I've also heard of the one to Niagara Falls as well, not sure on cost doe. Then there is the Natrel Ride for Heart (DVP)
Anything else?

If I made a million a second I wouldn't pay $150 to "race" 80km. Peasant financial fundamentals will not allow.

No shit they cost money wally, $150 though, more than a fucking track day to ride on a public road for a few hours  ? GTFO. My buddy does races in the states and it's $50-$80 TOPS for 100km races. Ironman is like $250ish...these guys are out to lunch here.

fair enough. I agree that some of these things are ridiculously priced, and like you I wouldn't pay that much for that specific race.
The 24 hour race I do in the summer costs less and it is probably 100x more work to put on.

Uh a track day at a real track is more than double what centurion charges. Though I Do understand what u mean. I also agree that they over charge. Why not check out the grandfondos and others? There is the chin picnic critical at the indy circuit in the summer. I think u would Do pretty good there
