lol, durham cops are so shady man.
What slays me is the police station at brock and hwy 2, a few months ago I drove by on a saturday night and in one of the main spots there is a blacked out 550 bimmer just chilling, tinted with limo tint all around. Yea that cop is legit bro, SERVE AND PROTECT.

if I have a problem that really bugs me enough, I tend to be more proactive by writing letters to MPs, calling them, bitching the fuck out of them. I get involved rather than rant and rave on the boards when it really doesnt get you anywhere.
believe me, my MP and MPP are tired of hearing my complaints - I told them, I wouldnt be complaining if you guys would had gotten your shit together in the first place.
So guess what? they no longer got my vote the next time around, I made that clear to them.

Dude, what makes you think I haven't done that? e.g I'm not happy with the highschools in Pickering, I've emailed my schoolboard trustee, met with the school superintendent, met with the principles etc.
I've taken the same approach to other issues as well, but the more people that know about the issues, the better. You think the Arab spring uprising took place because poeple didn't bitch and complain about things on social media?

I dont know what the fascination is these days with members here ...complaining about others bringing up issues. thats what this place is. A place to complain, talk, troll, love tenderly.
Not every thread needs to have solutions to deem it useful or worthy of server space.
Many times there is no easy solution, so people come here to vent, chat about it etc.
A lot of it may have mostly negative overtones...for obvious reasons. A lot of shit is upside down and sideways(Yes even in this country).
We all have to ignore it to some degree or nothing would get done but it doesnt mean you cant talk about it ever.

nah, they just sucked it up and kept it off social media..... of course there are differences but as far as posting on this site is concerned. It doesnt matter. Both of which are far better than most of the drivel you get in OT.
And I wasnt specifically calling you out either.
Fair enough, I just don't like drama filled negative media (80%+) just to stir trolling/viewership. Solution isn't required, but at least provide thought provoking ideas, rather than just being a negative nancy (referring to article from earlier in the week - pet peeve of mine).
