A friend bought a minivan (kids) so he's getting rid of his 2002 Legacy. It does need a new head gasket, typical Subaru thing, but it's actually running quite well. I haven't driven it, but it might need a new wheel bearing in the rear as well. The body is in decent shape too.

260,000 kms but these things are tanks. Fix those problems and I would not be surprised if it keeps on running for years longer.

Is anyone interested in this? I don't have pictures yet, but if there is interest, I will get him to take some. He really wants to get rid of it, since he's not using it.

P.S. He's storing it in his dad's garage in Scarborough, if anyone wants to check out the car.

Good price, depending on body rust/condition. Headgasket is an easy fix for anyone with a little mechanical experience.

I only have one photo so far - I tried uploading to Photobucket but I'm on the Island in Port Perry and the internet connection here is utter crap. I can't.

Other info - oilsprayed, AC works, it's an auto.

Dealer or 3rd party shop?

My friend with a STi replaced his head gasket at a private shop, the parts and labours came out to be $1600-1700 if I am not mistaken. You need head gaskets, new studs and 3-4 bottles of coolant.
