87ZCSi 87ZCSi Post Master Sr Registered: 09/06/00 Posts: 7378 Loc: Portland and Toronto	Wind will be the same price as I'm currently paying Fido but I'll have US roaming for voice and data, unlimited, included. I travel a lot and spend 25-100/week in my prepaid US cell with no data every few months. The last two weeks in LA cost me $110 in the prepaid. So, does Wind still suck? I couldn't find much other than haters or nut swingers from Google.

87ZCSi 87ZCSi Post Master Sr Registered: 09/06/00 Posts: 7378 Loc: Portland and Toronto	A US national postpaid phone would cost more than I currently spend on the prepaid. On Wind, with the unlimited US option, it's actually $2/month cheaper than I pay for just Fido currently.

zaius zaius Post Master Sr Registered: 04/30/05 Posts: 8954 Loc: Toronto	do you talk on the phone a lot? i heard that the voice clarity on wind isn't the greatest. when i was on mobilicity, voice was clearer than wind. do you work deep inside office towers or underground? the signal penetration is poor with AWS. i couldn't get a signal very well with mobilicity and when i'd lose it, it'd take a while to get it again. i would never have signal in costco. because of these things, i left and i'm with fido now. _________________________ 2003 RSX Type S 2025 Integra Type S

iamfob iamfob Post Master Supreme Registered: 09/06/02 Posts: 24699 Loc: Out There	I ported to Wind Mobile in December 2010 and ported out in February 2013 due to no reception where I live. So ask someone with Wind Mobile to make outgoing call and receive incoming call in your house before making the switch. _________________________ FTMFW!!!
