I remember trying this a few years back, it wasn't all its cracked up to be. For one I remember the first "rack" they bring you were great. After the first the rest were mediocre. I don't remember what it was about them, I just remember not being impressed.

Also after taking part I realized that ribs aren't a good AYCE, at least not for me.

i can confirm this about the ribs...not the greatest. actually, nothing special at all...i just had them this wkend (first time at montanas in yeeaaars). had the babyback for $20, not enough sauce (basically one side coated), and half the rub meat was fat, and had this sweet taste to the meat ugh.

I usually ask for extra sauce on the ayce ribs cuz I always found montana's ribs to be a tad bit dry.

$26-28 worth of ribs and side dishes will fill me up pretty good, so I doubt I would take advantage of this "promotion".

I had tried ribs from Boston Pizza a couple of years ago. It was surprisingly good but mashed potatoes was horrible. How do you fuck that up?

wifey had ribs at Barbarians....those were fuckin INSANE - lol csi only does gourmet ribs ;\)

Your arteries will clog if you eat these 'competition-style'...

I remember watching a video on the various techniques on eating ribs competitively... It was fucked... One involved separating the meat from the bones in a pile, then eating thru the pile... holy fucking death from meat...

i think Montans ribs are good, but it does depend on location. The best is the one in brampton near 410 and bovaird. Ribs are big and moist and probably the best you are going to get at a chain resturant. Hell better than ribs i've had at expensive resturants too.
The first time i heard about this 3-4 years ago, a friend (if you guys rember scott93hbsi) and i went with my wife, we ate almost 4 racks each (not my wife she was a bit grossed out/embaressed i think lol). My wife had to drive home and i swear every bump i thought i was going to barf lol
