I'm not too familiar with this but I believe that these outages affect users who don't run off corporate servers. Not that it makes things much better.

On a side note ... this really affects users in countries like India ...

Read an article a few wks back: iPhone and other 3G phones are taking a back seat to RIM due to the lack of 3G infrastructure ... i.e. users don't get the full iPhone experience as they're on EDGE all the time ... Could also be greasy fingers don't work that well on a virtual kb.

My BB's been out periodically since this morning. Really frustrating as I have been in meetings around the city for most of the day. Just means a ton of catch up now that I have my laptop up and running.
