Bought a set of Konig Britelites for my brothers bday. Wasn't sure if I need tuner lugs with a taper instead of the oem ball seat type. I tried the OEM lugs and they fit just fine but wasn't sure if they were making the proper connection to the wheel they were supposed to.

The R stands for exactly what you think it does.

for the most part, you're not supposed to use aftermarket lugs on oem rims.

i think with aftermarket rims you're also not supposed to use oem lugs?

mind you, some aftermarket lugs out there will work ok on oem rims...muteki usually do, even with the taper. dunno about your konig ones though.

Depends on the car too. Both my Hyundais use a conical shaped lug just like an aftermarket tuner lug. My old Hondas all used a ball/spherical lug.

Honda lugs will fall off if used on aftermarket rims.

ok thanks for the feedback. I swapped on some 12 X 1.5 "tuner lugs" I had lying around.

It all depends on the seat of the wheels/lugs. There are only a few standardized shapes.

Tuner lugs? Aren't we talking about ball seat vs conical?

Fucking ricers.
