so we finally accepted an offer on this stupid condo. the management is the worst condo management i've ever seen, if any of you were to see this place as a condo, you would all laugh.

we diden't get asking, but close to it, it's going to be nice to be debt free now. the only thing pending is the status certificate to be signed off on. i'm happy because now i can go car shopping for my new car and not have to be worried about whats going to happen to it in the parking garage.

things that have happend:

older daily integra:

- broke into, stole my front lip ($50 special painted)
- opened, looked, nothing taken but rummaged thru.

the current daily integra:

-broke into the car, sole my lock key

-before i could get another lock key set, came back and managed to steal 1 gsr blade and all my lug nuts, they ran off cause another resident heard my alarm and came ripping around the corner, they all took off.

-broke in, stole my sub and amp, as i went to my car a cop was there, gave me a phone number to call instead of taking a report...friggin wortless.

-window smashed, rummeged thru, they got nothing, they tried to steal my rear seats..why i don't know.

anyways, going to rent a condo for a year, a nice condo around yonge/finch, and take our time picking out the perfect house for us. and now i can park my car without wondering if it's still going to be there in the morning.

LOL i gave the new owner 1 months free taxi rides for an incentive. and wayne gave me a bunch of kfc coupons too.

i'm @ keele/401. the area isn't bad unless you go more north or south, the acutal unit is nice but the building and parking suck shit.

You are verrrrry lucky to sell in that building, good for you. Anyone who is not aware its the old travelodge at Keele and Wilson. The condo board is very corrupt and bleeding the place dry.

Congrats Flexin, that area is pretty bad. I know it's not the worst, but it's grimey no matter how you slice it. That intersection always has its fair share of shady ppl even though it's next to the OPP.

i diden't. the wife bought there before we met with promises of this that and the other. now that we are hitched i am on tap for approval for the sale, even tho i'm not on the title. anyway you look at it, we are just happy to get out of here.

ya i'm famous. i actually asked them to take down the pics of my car sitting on the rotors. i had to take off all of the wheels since they took the lugs and they could easily just come back and take the rest. so having no wheels there to put on i took the 3 and tossed them in the bimmer. there was my car sitting on the ground.

and holy shit i cant wait till they sign off on this status certificate. if they don't i'm going to be really bummed. now i'm looking at a tridel building at yonge/finch.

a lot of the condos i'm looking at now are like that, i would need more space, or at least an island....

^its not bad actually, it can get cluttered if your making a big meal, if i got one of those microwave/range in one then that would free up alot more space aswell. also, keep in mind that alot of stuff was taken off the counter to make it apear like it had alot more room then there acutally is.

the only thing we are on tap for is if there are any leins on the building, if so then we have to pay our share as per the status certificate. your right, as soon as the certificate is signed off on that's when i'm poppin bokkles.

and lol, the garage is finsihed..hahaha, it's not gated what so ever. so anyone can go in there. the junk cars have been removed because the city made the owner of the condo do it, but either than that it looks like ass. when you go in there hide yo kids hide yo wife.

i don't think my buyer will care to tell you the truth, he's this old single itallian guy who will probably never leave the unit. i wasent't joking when i said that the place was ran like shit. it's a complete joke and they are doing nothing about it.

some residents took the condo corporation to court but ended up loosing, that resulted in everyone's maintence fee rising to regain the court costs.

if all goes thru after we rent this condo im done with them.

I came across that site on the Urban Toronto forum, its a great review board for anyone interested in architecture or researching condo builds.

The wife and I went to look at some units in there in 2007, we made the mistake of driving out back to the parking garage and knew right away the place was trouble.
