i'm one of the lucky (or unlucky depending on your standpoint) guys who met my wife before i ever made any money. so in a sense that rules out that she's a gold digger.
now if she were to leave me for a richer man that couldn't provide any of the physical and emotional comforts i have then i'd label her a gold digger.

On my first *date* with my gf I picked her up in a 14 year old bmw that had holes in the floor (I had cut out some rust, but didn't put the sheet metal down yet so there were a few 6"x6" holes that I covered up with a floormat on the pas side). I explained the situation to her and proceeded to take her to McDonalds where we shared an apple pie.
