I've not touched my bike in a long time. Really I'm finding it hard to get interested.... kinda sad, I know.

There are the occasional "people of wal-mart" posts in OT that are funny.
I try to avoid Walmart. My car doesn't need anymore door dings, shopping carts running into it. I also don't need stupid kids ramming shopping karts on my leg/ ankles.

i avoid walmart for many reasons...
it smells, the people that shop there and most importantly, their business practice.
i'm all for capitalism, but walmart just crush everyone in their way.
i'm not your average buy local type hippie, but if i'm going to go discount shopping, i'll try to go with a Canadian rooted discount retailer like Zellers (understanding that they're owned by their American overlords)or SuperStore (the Weston needs more money. Bridal Path property taxes ain't cheap) I am with you 100%. I also value smaller stores like Canadian Tire (my fav is Laird/Eglinton) because it's small enough where I don't have to spend 10 minutes walking from my car to the item in the store and another 10 minutes back. 1 minute from car to product, 1 minute to checkout, less than minute to car. The convenience for me is a big factor. Plus it's Canadian.
How could I forget about Canadian Tire. Parking is always free & available (except for Bay/Dundas location) and someone has to pay for Jeffo's rims and car habit!!!
