phoenixrage phoenixrage Post Master Supreme Registered: 01/15/08 Posts: 50785 Loc: People's Republic of Ontario	co-worker is looking to setup a bunch of cells that when you input 40, it'll read as $0.40 instead of $40.00 kinda like how some calculators you can set where the decimal place is and you enter the numbers in sequence. iirc, some ATM machines are setup that way to input numbers. _________________________ Don't question things, everything is good the way it is and no improvements or suggestions needed.

But the easiest is to enter the numbers in column A and then column B should be =A1/100 so it will automatically give you the divided value. That's one way, another way is if you put in all your numbers, then write 100 in an empty cell. Copy the 100, select all your data and paste special - divide, done. _________________________ WTF? $\:\/$
