Is that a nice way of saying I am becoming desperate as I ripen? If there is grass on the field, play ball.

I brought my nephew to work with me today rather than my son. His father died when he was only 3 months old, so I try to give him as much guidance as I possibly can.
He's 14 years old, almost as tall and big as me, must be the hormones in the milk these days .

girls were looking older(they always do) but i find lately that kids are actually looking younger and are MUCH smaller than they used to be. i knew i wasnt on crack when some kids that age said that to me on some random occasions...saying how they are much smaller than our generation was.
though obviously its hard for them to remember such things..but its true. kids are runts these days. grade 9's remind me of elementary schoolers. obviously there are exceptions.

yeah with my life being so busy I was kind of oblivious to the fact that perhaps he wasn't getting all of the support that some children get from having two parents. A few years ago he was taking Father's day real hard at school, and it suddenly hit me that maybe I should help out wherever I can.
I now have him wrenching on my S2000 on weekends as a way to teach him about auto maintenance, works for both of us, he, he, he......
