Im going to be studying French at the Université de Québec a Chicoutimí from July 2-August 9th this coming summer and was wondering what all there will be for me to do. Also, would you recommend flying or driving as Ill be coming from Cincinnati, OH which is about 5 hours south of Detroit or so (if that even helps). If any of you have any good ideas, or anything useful at all, feel free to reply. Id appreciate it!

I don't know a lot about Chicoutimi...But Iàif I remember correctly, there are more girls than boys in Chicoutimi... so you should have a lot of fun


But in Mtl, there will be a lot of festival
(Jazz Festival, Just for Laugh, Francofolies, etc.)

Chicoutimi and Jonquière girls are the cutest and sluttiest of all the province.

It's in the middle of fucking nowhere though and it's FAR. Like, 5-6 hour drive from Montréal, 3 hours from Québec City through a fucking 200-mile stretch of forest and mountains. Good luck \:D

I had no problems there (with ontario plates on)


Make sure you make some weekend trips to MTL, its a freaking blast! Hit up the old port for some sangria, it's the best I've ever had \:\)

Hmm, ok. Also, I tried to get a rough guesstimate of drive times, and it looks to be about 18 hours. Im about 4-5 hours south of detroit, (if this helps), but is my guess about right?

Sounds about right. How far from Toronto are you?
Toronto is 6 hours from Montréal, and then Chicoutimi is about 6 hours from there.
