Okay so I took my b16 to a shop to have my skunk2 stage2 pro cams installed along with the intake manifold. They told me to get a p28 for them to work with. They put in the pro series valve springs and also changed the retainers. They said they were able to get about 150whp. one problem is that they said they had to move my vtec up to about 7700 becuase when vtec engages, it was bringing in too much air and I was losing about 40whp. They also said that maybe I needed to get a new header because the air was being restricted. they said for me to make it work I should get some headwork done, raise my compresssion, and change the header. Does all this sound right and to have my vtec so far off? I miss my vtec since I only get it for like half a second. are the cams just too big since I dont have much done to the car yet?
