ok this is whats done at the moment:(not amazing esp only a vafc2 , was told ignition map was crap)

vafc2 mapped on dyno
resonator box removed and drop in panel filter
itr 4-1 manifold
dc de cat
ctr cat back inc back box
irridum plugs and itr clutch and flywheel.

results: 168.3 bhp flywheel and 112fbls

not great so now i bought the following:

spoon ecu
itr inlet manifold
complete b16b (ek9 type r)head (cams ..everything)
p73-00 spoon pistons (approx 10.7:1 cr)

so two questions, approxx bhp (stock ecu with vafc mapped, waiting on spoon ecu but one month delay so going ahead anyway)

and has anyone done the conrod milling to accept the p73-00 pistons? is it reliable?
intend limit to be ctr spoon of 9100 rpm. The b16a2 conrod has to be milled exactly one mill off each side to accept pistions, and before you ask got pistons for free so thtas why using them, broke with ordered ecu... so any thoughts..

thanks

First problem right there. After I read that I stopped reading the rest.

agreed.
Ditch that shit and get a street/dyno tune with crome. I guarantee you'll be pleased with the results.

this doesnt look right to me, i thought a b16 dynoed at around 130-135hp stock?
how did you gain that much from i/h/e?

pistons are not what you need to worry about to go into the 9k range, its headwork you need.

its a b16a2 vti (irish si) and stock i got 162.0 bhp (flywheel), so didnt really gain alot from all that work ha ha, the head i have is the b16b head(ek9 type r) so its more than capable of the 9 k limit, (seen this in real life with ek9 and spoon ecu and spoon stroker, absolut amazing... love spoon now)

it dyno'd at 168.3 at the flywheel, cant remember at the wheels.
no see i have on order a spoon ecu, which ive seen in action and was amazed, only prob cos my car is irish not jdm it has an immob so have to get one from japan, but one month delay and want to get everything else done while i wait so i just have to just plug it in.
thing is that im worried about milling the con rods as they are not as strong as the oem type r ones(cant run them cos there longer) and by milling them and running a highher rev limit will i have the reialability??

the spoon pistons are just a balanvced p73-00 piston.

So they pulled your motor out and dyno'd it out of the car....

ok, at the fly wheel means where i come from the power of the engine after the adjustment made to compensate the loss of power through the drive train... ie at the flywheel, still no one is answering my question??? will milling the conrods have an affect on reliability? has anyone done this before!!
