I recently swapped a Civic Type R motor into my EM1. I love it. Come this Monday i'll have a high flow cat, and 2.5" pipe all the way back. I also have a short ram intake. Also an Exedy Stage 2 clutch.

My q's...

How do yall fair up in the 1/4 mile, 1/8 mile. What's your HP and TQ #'s? How do you guys like the B16B.

Has anyone stroked their B16B? If so how much faster is your car?

And last, how do you guys fair up against other automobiles? (ITR's, SRT-4's etc)

if you want to stroke it to a 1.8L all you have to do is swap the crank and rods to a gs-r/type r, although you might want to use the integra type r pistons instead of the CTR because the CTR's will give you a pretty damn high compression ratio. a B16B and a B18C block is exactly the same except for pistons rods and crank, so swapping them wouldn't require any machining.

I like my b16b. I blew it up boosting it and am in the process of throwing an ITR crank in it with some new pistons and rods to bump it up to 1.8. I think i put down 163/113 when i was NA and 253 when boosted at 7psi.

I beat a b16 ek with s2s2 cams/im/i/h/e and a similarly setup gsr. never raced an itr or srt4 when i was NA.

Yeah thanks, I already know how to stroke it. I just don't know how much power it will give me, or what the 1/4 mile times i'll be running. thanks!

A friend of mine in Jamaica did this, he used ITR crank and rods with P30 pistons. His B16B was bone stock and made 142whp, 92wtq, after the OEM stroking, he got 170whp, 121wtq. Everything else is stock.

Yeah it did actually, I made a mistake with the sheet. Here it is, made 100.9wtq.

After stroking.
