siracer1997 siracer1997 Newbie Registered: 11/08/05 Posts: 12 Loc: oklahoma	I have a b16 short block as my spare and plan on rebuilding it with fresh oem bearings,ring,ect..I'm a college student with a low income and was wondering if there is any reasonable priced upgrades to do to the short block or just spend money on cams and head work? FYI: I'm not looking for gobs of power or anything just a little more power out of my street car

b6ixteen b6ixteen Post Master Jr Registered: 12/29/04 Posts: 1846 Loc: Florida	My first recommendation is to not build an NA B16; and in your case since you not looking for gobs of power as you put it, work on the head. DOHC VTEC motors make most of their power from the head.
