I searched and found a lot of usefull info for Legend and NSX FRONT caliper upgrades on civics. However no one mentions the rear calipers. Do they fit? bolt placement is teh key component (I am hoping that all I need to do is the same for the fronts for the rears, which is grind the inner portion of the caliper bracket and redrill the NSX rotors to 4x100)

overkill?? since when can you brake too fast??
its overkill when the brakes overpower your tires too easily. if you go overkill, your brakes will act like an on/off switch, and be very difficult to modulate.
Imagine trying to apply light pressure to the brakes to gradually slow down, and instead, you instantly lock up the wheels. That's overkill.
Also, if you don't size your master cylinder/booster and prop valve properly with the new setup, you may get worse performance than what you have now. larger calipers will require a larger MC to work properly.
and then you have the whole weight issue with huge brakes. you could be adding 6-10 lbs per corner to your rotating assembly, making your car accellerate slower and also have a negative effect on your suspension.
there is a whole balance issue with "big" brakes that needs to be considered. bigger can be better to a point, but there is always a point of deminishing returns.

Doesn't RWD vehicles have more powerful barkes on their rear wheel than their FWD counterparts?
If so, I dont think it'll be a good idea to put RWD brakes on FWD cars.
