Hey there.. I just completed a engine swap in my 92 Honda Civic Hatchback. It now has a H22A1 DOHC VTEC 2.2L 4cyl (PRELUDE). My question is will a Greddy turbo system fit in this engine bay. Also if anybody has any ideas to get more HP. Thx
i have a bunch of h22 turbo parts for sale....2 sleeved/pistons/rods blocks....portflow head.....golden eagle intake manifold and fuel rail, T4 polished log mani...blah blah blah...if you need anything let me know. i also have a PT63 turbo that will bolt to the manifold i have. the greddy kit is no fun on a h22 and as far as i know they dont have an application for a h22 in a civic
Just having a H22 in a bubble isn't fast enough for you. I don't know if greddy makes a turbo kit for it but you would prob save alot making a custom one. Nice hatch good luck.
Thats a fun swap. You need to get a b series adapter kit for the trani before you get caried away making power. H22 trani's are long geared and both the ones that I have been invalved with have had masive axel problems. Both were on hcp mounts. The second one we did has a t3t4e at 5.8# and made 250hp and 200ft. Now the clutch has a spring lodged between the presure plate and the disk. Its kinda sickening because we spent soo much time making evrything perfect on this car. It wont even last 1 track day without issues. We hope the b series trany swap will cure all of the crap.
