I have a catch can setup on my integra that is just vented through a filter to atmosphere. My problem is it's vapor is coming into the car through the air vents, I have to run the car on resurculation all the time. I was wondering if anyone has encountered this before? I was thinking of running a hose to the exhaust after the cat and it should pull vacuum on the catchcan because of a venturi effect which would eliminate anything I would be smelling from the catchcan. Anyone try this setup before?

Move the catchcan, or run a line from the can where the filter is down underneath the car.

Ok, pulled the filter and ran a line out the bottom of my front bumper at the side if it. Still getting the vapor smell a little if I'm sitting idleing. I'm going to run it into my exhaust after the cat this week and see how it works.

Ok I setup the catchcan vent into my exhaust with a Venturi setup and I ran a Moroso exhaust check valve inline as well. Seems to work great, pulling slight vacuum at idle which will increase with RPM. no more stinky fumes in the car and can't seek them at the exhaust either.

Took this picture in the dark with my phone. you can see my catch can with the 2 upper hoses that run to the front of my valve cover where there are 2 tubes welded into it, the rear upper tube runs to the stock breather on the valve cover. there are 2 tubes on the bottom half that run tothe back of the block that vent the crankcase as well as return oil on decel. the rubber plug in the top is the vacuum running to the exhaust, inline on this tube you can see the moroso exhaust check valve to prevent pulsations from reducing the vacuum effect of the venturi. Any questions ask away.

Thanks for the pic, I wanted to see how you connected it to your exhaust.

Lol sorry. Under the car just behind my cat maybe 4" I have a 5/8" steel tube that goes into the exhaust pipe at a 15 degree angle with the direction of exhaust flow the end of the tube inside the exhaust is slash cut with the open towards the back of the car and perpendicular to the exhaust flow this is what creates the venturi effect. I'll try and find a picture of what I mean. You might have to copy and paste ye image link? I can't get it to show up on my phone.
