Haven't been in this site in quite a while, got rid of my 2000 Si (GReddy 18g) and missed it since...Anyways to make up I purchased a used 96 Integra GSR with the following mods:
B18C Head w/Skunk2 Intake Manifold;B16a2 Block (Je Pistons 9.5.1 compression Eagle Rods w/ARP studs,ARP head studs, Alc bearings,RACE block guard,Wisco piston rings,Micropolished Crank) Turbo: Turbonetics T3/T4e,Revhard Manifold,Revhard Intercooler,Tial Wastegate (7psi spring),Vortech Bov,450cc Injectors,STR fuel Rail Fuel Management: 450cc injectors,STR Fuel Rail,Walbro 250lph Intank,P72 chipped and tuned with Uberdata and Innovative Wideband
Here's the problem: The vehicle was driving fine the first week until I had a friend drive it...he got boost happy and that's when the problem occurred...the car idled from 1500-2500 rpm. We replaced the vacuum lines and intake manifold gasket. We came to a conclusion through research (still crossing fingers)it could be the IAC valve and ordered one (comes in next week). After driving it with the bad idle a new problem existed...a check engine light came on and now the car boggs (still somewhat driveable) I can't exceed 3k rpm in each gear before shifting. Please help I've done tons of research on different forums and can't come to a conclusion. My guess with the bogging is possibly Air Filter clogged, spark plugs and even replacing my O2 sensor. Thanks for the help!
