I scanned my dyno sheet with all 3 pulls into Photoshop, removed the 2nd pull, and plotted my max and peak gains for whp and torque.

I also plotted my boost pressure which I really didn't study until this week when I had some free time. Found some interesting info.

The first pull with "stock" Greddy boost peaked at just under 5psi at 4k and gradually tapering to 4.3psi by redline.

The 3rd pull peaked at just under 7psi at 4.5k and goes all the down to 5.6psi by redline.

It is no surprise that I got my max power gains at the peak boost pressure point. I am sure the boost tapering is due to the flow problems associated with the elbow and tiny downpipe (the exact opposite of boost creep caused by the exhaust out-flowing the wastegate). Not to mention the chambered muffler of the Apexi WS.

I also want to mention that I NEVER noticed this kind of boost drop on my boost gauge. The boost would taper off a little bit, but we're talking a half pound at the most. Could this be a variance of a pull made on rollers vs the asphalt?

That graph gives me a headache..lol.

I'd like to see the AF around 11.6-11.8 in the future if you are tuning it. It's not a huge deal on the greddy, but I think anything in the 12 range on big boost is a potential problem unless you are running weaksauce timing.

I'd say open up that exhaust/manifold and you won't have boost dropping issues.

I totally agree. The night before the dyno day I was doing some last minute pulls trying to clean up the maps some and was logging low 11's and even dipping into some 10's.

I made some adjustments and never got to test them, it was getting late. After the dyno I swapped chips to the old richer tune. I've been working on getting them right this week.
