As stated today was my first time at an semi track tohight with my Si.They do ( This at the local airport so i decided to try it out.
You race any car truck or bike thats there so sometimes you mismatched but its all in good fun!
My 1st race was against some older guy on a Harley.I did terrible off the line and he smoked me pretty good.No big deal though.
2nd race: younger kid in a little S10 with the 4.3 liter.again terrible off the line but I got him by many car lengths.
3rd race:Kid in a 350 Z with some Procharger stickers so i assume hes boosted but he wouldnt give me details(douchebag).Anyways my start was a little better and he certainly didnt push his car as hard as he couldve(i dont blame him) and he got me by 2 lengths.
4th: Stock S2000(05 i believe)Figured this would be a good race. He had no idea i was boosted so i know he was surprised when I beat him by a car length. Pretty decent start but couldve been better.
5th: Newer Hemi Ram quad cab:my start was great this time and I got him by 3or 4 car lenths.
6th:Some punk kid in a Neon R/T with a big old spoiler and the classic dual exhaust. Not much of a race.I spun a lot again but still managed many car lengths on him.
Overall it was a fun time. I learned that I need better tires and to practice my launch.Kinda sucks racing things that you really shouldt be but it was good times.Other than traction i was very happy with my car.

IDK why they dont let us go further than 1/8,must be safety regulations or the airports insurance is my guess.O well it was a fun way to spend a sunday!
