Have: '00 jrsc gsr, '01 stock gsr with nice suspension mods, thinking about trading both in for an nsx, or getting a good welder/fabricator onboard to build a twin engine integra. wild idea, but it could be done. what would the ramifications/advantages be for one engine to be more powerful than the other front to rear? that would be sick though, eh? 4WD with lots of torque... trust me, I would.

twin engine Tiburon from SCC USCC, I'm pretty sure you'd have to go with Auto's.

its possible, not very practical or very cost effective, it would be cool to see and fab though.
there are a few ways you could link the transmissions to eliminate the need to go automatic.
fabricating the engine mounts in the rear and aligning the system would be tricky, it's been done before though, i recall seeing a Del Sol that was converted to rear engine, rear wheel drive. they just boxed the front end in and used it as a trunk i believe.

i would sooner simply convert it to mid/rear engine, rwd. than tryin to rig up dual engine awd systems.

the pikes peak escudo was a good example of how to engineer twin engine all wheel drive goodness. i'm sure they were using dogboxes though.

I was originally inspired by the article on our beloved CSI on the H22 rear engine conversion integra. so the rear concept is definitely not only a dream. and yes the tranny syncronization would be a nightmare for a twin engine car, right?
